Our commitment to customer satisfaction is unmatched, we only sell product we would use ourselves. Our store offers a free candle making class each Saturday of the month, come make a candle. The 1st Saturday is Container Candles and the 2nd Saturday will be Chunk Pillar Candles. The following Saturdays will be containers and more advanced classes by request. Just give Renee a call if you want to make more advanced candles and she will help all she can. We try and start classes by 11:00 AM. If you are new to candlemaking please try our class before investing in supplies. We will do group classes upon request times are flexible.

Swans Candles and candle making supplies is a family owned business located in Lakewood, Washington State. We pride ourselves in attention to customer service and satisfaction. The store opened in 1973 and has expanded to over 4000 square feet of space.
The candlemaking supplies section has been expanded to include soy wax, paraffin, Palm wax, natural waxes, organic wax and microcrystaline wax from Accu-Blend, Calwax and other manufacturers. We have fine Fragrance oils including aromatherapy scent we stock over 150 fragrances, wax additives, wax melters, wicks and plastic tealight cups. An extensive oil candle supply department. Aromatherapy scent is the current rage and we are fortunate to be able to carry some of the best aromatherapy scent available. Color chips are the most convenient way to color wax and color chips come in a variety of popular colors. We offer a free candle making class for both container candles and pillar candles.
For your shopping pleasure you will find a large selection of brand name candles such as Yankee Candles, Firelight Glass, Laserglass, and Bright Lights, to name a few. At present we carry three items made by Aloha Bay Candles, 16hr Palm wax votives, Hex Lights and 10" Pyramids. A Hex Light from Aloha Bay is an 8oz hexagon shaped glass jar filled with Palm wax and a bit of natural beeswax with a burn time of 55hrs. When you desire high quality oil candles Firelight Glass and Laserglass are the names to remember. It is hard to compare Firelight Glass and Laserglass products, because they have a distinctively different concept of what an oil candle should be. It is recommended that you check Firelight Glass and Laserglass out on our web site and you will see what we mean. The Yankee candle line is known for its use of strong scents. We stock all of the Yankee candle scents in the three sizes of jars, samplers, potpourri tarts and most of the 3" x 9" pillars and scented tealights. The Christmas candle section contains Santa Clauses, carolers, Nativity Scene, Nutcracker Soldier, Snowball, and an assortment birch logs. Most likely the birch logs should not be in the Christmas candle section, but when I saw the logs I said "The Christmas candle section."
The Novelty Candles section is so large that we had to arrange it into separate catagories. Enter Our Online Store and you will find Angels, Clowns, Food "related". The Angels range from large Angels to small Angels. The Clowns are imported from Italy and are some of the best Clowns around. A Mystical section with Dragons, Gargoyles, and Unicorns, also a People section with Buddhas, Socerers, and Wizards. Then you come to the fun part where Swans Aquarium and Sea World, Swans Aviary, Swans Cat and Dog House, Swans Farm Animals, Swans Sports Arena, and finally Swans Zoo are located. This area is home for animals, birds, cats, dogs, eagles, flamingos, owls, sea gulls, swans, fish, frogs, whales, penguins, porpoises, turtles, turkeys, honey bears, bisons, brontosaurus, and elephants to mention a few.
