The flashpoint for the CB3 is over 400 degrees F. so at 213 they may get smoking, but not fire. However, these types of heaters have always been a worry due to poor temperature control. There have been cases of fires resulting from the use of melters. People are not always careful to use only a tea light, if they put a can of Sterno in the melter for example, all bets are off. Since the other waxes being used (paraffin for example) have about the same flashpoint, I don't see any advantage to one versus the other.

White Beeswax beads

MP-146, Pure Off-White Beeswax pastilles  Beeswax is secreted by the bees (Apis Mellifica) and used to construct the hive. The bleaching method to obtain Our White Beeswax is not chemical, but it is a PHYSICAL METHOD. The Yellow Beeswax is warmed up to 100 °C and melted. Decoloration earth and coal (carbon) are added then it is filtered through a < 5 micron filter for a few times to obtain the total elimination of the coal particles. Beeswax is used in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, candle, encaustic art and other applications.

Yellow Beeswax beads

Calsoy CB3 All Natural Soy Container Blend Slabs and Beads Will Bloom(frost)

119 MP  For Glass/Ceramic Container Candles.   Only for use in Container Candles, will not release from molds.  This blend is made from 100% hydrogenated soy and vegetable oils. CRYSTAL BRITE PB PALM WAX All Natural Pillar Blend

A 100% pure vegetable wax. This wax forms very large crystals for stunning effects. For best results pour temperature is 200 F. using aluminum molds. Lower pour temperatures and thin walled metal molds cool too quickly to allow for the large crystals to form. Proper wicking will tunnel, resulting in a thin walled lantern effect

Accu-Blend Coconut-Paraffin Container Blend MP126 made of all natural organic coconut wax & other quality ingredients including Paraffin. Coconut wax has excellent color retention, jar adhesion, hot & cold scent throw and is very clean burning. No additives are required. This coconut & paraffin wax was blended to eliminate frosting of colored candles and is a one pour blend. Coco-Par wax has a smooth surface & burns coolor to burn longer. As with all natural products, it can vary slightly from batch to batch. This product meets FDA requirements for use in non-food articles in contact with food as per 21 CFR 172.880 Suggested usage: Heat to 160-180, add color, remove form heat, add fragrance and pour at desired temp.
